In light of an unhurried day, I spent much of the time working on a essay*. It felt right to do so. Sprinkling water on the earth and pushing the edges together.
(*Except I don't really like the word "essay," nor "nonfiction" dangling on its lonesome, so I'll go with "a creative nonfiction piece" instead. You know what I speak of.)
